How and what for you need to allow using a microphone for making call in the browser?
Why do you need to allow using a microphone?
For making call from the site you need to allow the browser to use a microphone. Calls are completely safe, because the browser sends the sound from your microphone only with your permission.
Why does the browser requests the permission to the microphone?
This is due to features of browser work and its security policy. Browsers do not give access to computer resources (disk, video camera, audio devices, etc.) by default. For this reason the browser asks for your permission when you try to call.
